Cinderella

HERE it is! my first PAPER-CUT children's book 'CINDERELLA'

In all honesty I was quite nervous to see this book, there was a lot of pressure to get it finished in not a lot of time and I so wanted it to be a really beautiful book. But now I see it I am very pleased.

It was published by Tango books who specialise in pop-up Children's books,  they commissioned me to create a really unique, precious book that a young girl would treasure forever. The book is like no other I've seen, between each double page spread you will find a delicate paper-cut, each intricate silhouette is cleverly designed to interact with the illustrations on either side. 

Publishing a Children's book has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. I am over the moon to see it in Waterstons as one of their special Xmas selection!

I really hope the book gets turned into a series of Brother Grimms fairy tales! watch this space.
